The lids are manufactured out of bamboo wood and also have rubber seals which helps to make them airtight. The floral design is embossed and adds interest to the seaside shade of this colour.
The recommendation is that they should not be washed in a machine but really they should only need a wipe with a damp cloth.
Size wise they are not large containers but can hold up to 23 fl oz (700ml) so will be useful as small storage jars. As they are so attractive to look at, it may be that you use them on your kitchen worktops for tea, coffee or sugar.
